ASPIRE Volunteers
Our Volunteers:

Debbie Jewett -- Debbie was our former ASPIRE Coordinator, and has been a great asset to the program. She is still currently volunteering and mentoring students as they prepare for the college transition.

Kim Wilson -- Kim Wilson, who saw her twins back to college this fall became aware of just how important assistance to seniors is for making that jump successfully. She has stepped into the ASPIRE Coordinator position.

Michelle Schwin -- Michelle also saw her son off to college this year and is working with seniors finalizing their future career plans. She is also working with juniors, getting them signed up for SAT and ACT tests.

Hans Larson -- Hans is one of the newest volunteer with the program and is just getting his feet wet. He hopes to work with some of the freshmen and sophomores to get them thinking about options early in their process.

Jim Willis -- Jim has just joined the ASPIRE volunteer team and plans on working with students interested in the trades and apprenticeship programs

Steve Grube -- Steve is a former teacher and substitute at Crow High School. He works with students interested in attending college on an athletic scholarship as his daughter has.

ASPIRE volunteers are being sought. Requirements include having an interest in helping students, passing a background check, and the ability to volunteer one to four hours per week. Volunteers do not need to have gone to college themselves; training and support will be provided. Email Kim Wilson (kwilson@cal.k12.or.us) for more information.
